INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (FITT)
Canada's economic well being hinges on the improved performance of Canadian business people and companies doing business in the international marketplace. The Forum for International Trade Training (FITT) www.fitt.ca - Canada's centre for international trade training and certification - is a national, not-for-profit professional organization founded by industry and government to develop international trade training programs and to improve the quality of training in international trade by establishing nation-wide standards.
FITT offers the only national professional designation in Canada that recognizes individuals' experience in international trade, the C.I.T.P. (Certified International Trade Professional) designation. It is the highest level of professional accreditation available to international business and trade professionals.
The FITTskills courses provide individual entrepreneurs and business professionals working for firms that want to become global players with practical trade skills and a competitive leading edge. These courses focus on the practical aspects of international business, including logistics, trade finance, nation-by-nation marketing opportunities, market entry strategies and sound international management techniques. It's an essential tool kit based on everyday, real-life examples of what works and what doesn't in international trade.
Note: Tuition fees include the cost of the FITTskills national examination but not the cost of the textbook.
