Photography - DigitalSHERIDAN CERTIFICATE Are you a hobby photographer who would like to upgrade your skills? Perhaps you would like to explore the possibility of earning income from your hobby, or gain an introduction to professional methods in photography and in starting a business. Participants will stay near the gates to Ontario’s Algonquin Park. The weekend includes instructional times, guided shooting and a Saturday Evening critique, followed by further site explorations and consultations on Sunday. For more information visit us at: **Travel Photography - Niagara-on-the-Lake Watch for tentative dates for June in 2011 Treat yourself to a special weekend digital photography course at Niagara-on-the-Lake with a special focus on travel photography. Discover how to take the travel experience back to share with others. Learn how to see people and places differently and then create the photographs that will tell the story and capture feelings that are so often missing in snapshots and postcards. This inspiring weekend kicks off at Sheridan on Friday evening with a discussion on how preparation counts in travel photography: the tools, the tricks and the hints that will make your images better than ever. Saturday is a full day of guided location shooting the spectacular scenery of this favourite destination. Featured photo sites include Queenston Hights, local flora, parks and the architectural features of this picturesque town. Shooting pictures is always rewarding, but as any pro photographer will tell you, you are only halfway to a captivating picture story. On Sunday, return to Sheridan to work in the digital labs and learn how to successfully edit your pictures. Work on image enhancement through Photoshop and finish with a class critique of your favourite images.
