Office Administration - MedicalSHERIDAN CERTIFICATE The Office Administration – Medical Certificate Program has been developed to give you the most up-to-date medical office skills and knowledge to improve your employment and promotional opportunities within private practice, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, medical supply industries and other health care related facilities. This program is well known and respected within our medical community, offering employers graduates that are prepared to meet the challenges of a changing and dynamic Canadian health-care system. To assist you in completing your program faster, the Office Administration - Medical courses are also offered in an intensive format at Sheridan’s Skills Training Centre in Oakville. Courses will be scheduled weekday afternoons, enabling you to finish the program in one year (pending sufficient enrolment). * must be taken first ** must be taken last Admission RequirementsIf your English language skills are not at a Grade 12 level, you should take COMM19997 Basic Communications Skills and/or COMM19999 Essential Communication Skills before starting the program. Note: If your keyboarding speed is less than 30 nwpm, and you have little or no experience using Windows, you should take OADM70000 Computer Basics and Keyboarding before APPL70051 Word 2007, Introduction.
