Quality Assurance and Management

SHERIDAN CERTIFICATE

Quality Assurance is a growing profession, with opportunities for promotion and high earnings.

Sheridan, in cooperation with the Toronto section of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) presents the Quality Assurance and Management Certificate to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in that growing market. The program offers a wide range of courses in quality subjects such as fundamental quality concepts, ISO9000, auditing, metrology, reliability, SPC, SQC, DOE and quality management.

The quality practitioner has the option to become ASQ certified in a number of different areas, such as quality auditing, engineering, management, reliability and software, respectively. The designations are as follows - Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Technician (CQT), and Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE). These designations are given by the ASQ and are recognized world wide. Sheridan graduates have achieved a distinctly high success rate in obtaining their designations. In the quality field, they carry distinction and value as acknowledgement that the quality practitioner has achieved a level of knowledge and professionalism related to that designation and to the quality field in general.
