Esthetics: Skin Care Therapist

SHERIDAN CERTIFICATE

The new Esthetics Series of Certificate Programs have been developed to: meet new Ministry standards in the field of Esthetics; incorporate the latest techniques and practices in this field; and to meet the needs of our part-time adult learners. These programs have been designed for individuals seeking employment within the Esthetics industry in a variety of establishments such day spas, clinics, and salons. Today’s Skin Care Professionals apply special techniques and products aimed at preserving the suppleness, elasticity and total appearance of the skin. The program curriculum includes a balance of theory and practical experience and integrates the most up-to-date equipment and products available in the field.

The Esthetics series of programs currently consists of two Sheridan Certificates: Esthetics: Skin Care Therapist and Esthetics: Advanced Skin Care Therapist.

The Skin Care Therapist certificate will introduce students to the theories and techniques for basic skin care including facials, hand and foot care, and hair removal.
