Human Performance Training (HPT) - NEW

SHERIDAN CERTIFICATE

The Human Performance Training - Sheridan Certificate will provide professionals currently working in health and human performance settings the opportunity to upgrade their skill set to work with high performance athletes. Examine the theoretical and practical skills necessary to design and implement advanced strength and conditioning programs for both individuals and teams. You will learn how to organize, and be a part of, a performance enhancement team and develop a deep appreciation for both the psychological and physical training necessary for atheletes to excel in their sport.

Delivered by some of the most experienced human performance training specialists in the province, this program will utilize Sheridan’s Exercise Intervention Research Centre, a 4000sft strength and conditioning facility complete with platforms, sprint track and plyometric area.

* Note: Students are required to successfully complete HEAL70020 Principles of Exercise Science, prior to enrolling in any of the other courses.

Information Sessions provide an opportunity to meet with Program Coordinators to ask questions, receive advice, and make informed decisions enabling you to reach your academic goals. These sessions are available free of charge and will start promptly at the time indicated. No appointment is necessary.
