MATH36901 MATH36901 - Business Statistics, Advanced

Study advanced concepts and applications of techniques in solving business problems. Topics include: probability, decision analysis, sampling distributions, applications of sampling and risk analysis, statistical estimation and hypothesis testing, regression and correlation, analysis of variance, time series, index numbers, Bayes' rule, and an introduction to linear programming. A computer with internet access is required to complete homework assignments. Access to the Open Access Labs at the Davis or Trafalgar Campus is available if needed. Note: This course (with a minimum "B" grade) is equivalent to CGA course Business Quantitative Analysis.
